I think in this case we are both right.

It was a pathetic excuse considering his past recommendation at a very high price.

It sounded pretty good to someone who doesn't already own the stock so I can see why the stock moved on this.

If you have a high tolerance for risk and want to try for a home run stock, yeah it sounded pretty good.
