what?weight loss was probably related to the work of c-peptide which assists in the synthesis of insulin...which means, better use of unsulin.... which means it was better that synthetic insulin...aka garbage.... in providing other hormones to begin their role within the body,,, the sooner the better for all of us diabetics.... believe me!!
