RE:Walter Aduviri sentenced to six years in prisonThe market may like the news, but his core supporters still live there and they will be infuriated by this. They are the ones we need to be worried about. My concern is jailing him for such a long period plus the fines, will just fuel greater opposition to all the mining projects in the Puno area and will only further incite the people to protest.

Time will tell.
