Agree with your thoughts. We know buybacks are more beneficial when imposed on dividend paying stocks. Perhaps using $10M in a hybrid plan of $5M dividend (results in almost 3% yield) and $5M for stock buyback is an option. I'm sure they are looking at all avenues. Alternatively to going private, at the recent trading price of $5/share, an offer at $7 would be lucrative for a take over firm. Maybe not so great for long time investors and/or the ownership group.
