RE:M&A activityDepends on a lot of things. Some consolidation is happening, after a fashion. The new mini LNG plant in BC bought a private producer for its supply, for example, but don’t expect a lot from Canadian producers who already have lots of internal growth potential. LNGCANADA may pick something up, if they don’t already have enough, especially if they get the expansion underway. TOU is avoiding a cash build-up which might make them less appealing as a bargain-priced target, but also reduces the inclination for M&A (not that they need it).
Elections, world market, US depletion rates, pipeline access etc. all play a role. Too much uncertainty for outside interest, so I thing endurance is the name of the game here for a while. We have too much gas for the existing markets.
IMHO, of course.

comments, discussion??
