Consequently when determining your cost base for shares you would include the buy price of the warrant plus any commissions paid plus the 0,35 exercise price. There would be no capital gain until the shares are sold and therefore no immediate tax owed.
Selling the warrants on the other have triggers a capital gain or loss.
