Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:If many financial investment houses are shorting these

RE:If many financial investment houses are shorting these

Perhaps it might be timely for several of us to send an e-mail to an address group consisting of CIBC ombudsman and client support (addresses provided by gottahunch), Joel at Investor Relations, and the SEC.  The narrative could go something like this:

"As retail investors in Aphria, we believe there is a concerted effort by some financial institutions to artificially suppress the price Aphria stock.  It is our consideration that some institutional analysts are purposefully reducing price targets to accommodate shorting. Given the number of stocks being shorted, we also believe some institutions may be engaging in the illegal practice of naked short selling.

We request an investigation into this matter."

Something like that.

Maybe the "wolf pack" could draft something up, post it here (with the address group) and those of us on this site inclined to do so could send it off.

Fifty or sixty e-mails from different people would get the SEC's attention...as well as CIBC management of they are made aware we are onto it.
