RE:Health canada update

RE:Health canada updateThere's nothing to 'hear' from them.
The new regulations became effective yesterday. Oct 17th. Which includes a definition for potable water allowed on cannabis plants used for edibles etc.  Its basically now up to the LP's to decide if they this is enough clarification for them to go ahead and use the product. I also asked Sam and he said they have also submitted furhter wording clarification to the senete AG.

https://www.canada.ca/en/health-canada/services/drugs-medication/cannabis/laws-regulations/regulations-support-cannabis-act.html

"On June 14, 2019, the Government of Canada announced new regulations for edible cannabis, cannabis extracts, and cannabis topicals. These regulations were published in the Canada Gazette, Part II, on June 26, 2019, and came into force on October 17, 2019:"

Potable water 88.6 (1) A holder of a licence for processing must ensure that any water that might come into contact with a cannabis extract, a cannabis topical, edible cannabis or anything that will be used as an ingredient is potable and, if the water is not potable, must ensure that it does not present a risk of contamination of the cannabis extract, cannabis topical, edible cannabis or thing that will be used as an ingredient.
