If you declare personal bankruptcy, does that mean you can’t work?

Bankruptcy means you can’t pay your creditors, not necessarily your staff or yourself for that matter.

When you claim personal bankruptcy, you can live in your current house, you don’t give up everything.

Am am I mistaking?
