RE:market manipulation

RE:market manipulationDon't see your point. The reason they can short is there is no buyers so next week could easily drop down to around 5 especially if markets correct a little as well as oil. Who will buy next week to keep the price up? Nobody will be will to jump in a boiling pot until the move is finalized and they do the 5 for 1 split. I thought it over and will wait and may or may not buy them in the future. This was not well planned out by management. They could have had NCIB in place before the move to help keep up the price but obvioulsy they don't care about their shareholders. If the company was buying back shares right now shorts may think twice before shorting but they left the stock opened to get hammered. It is what it is and with NG trading a flat 2 bucks down south ECA will have a hard time attracting investment down there when about 1/2 their production is NG. We all got this one wrong and for any rise from here will be a long rough road.
