Keep in mind that there's an election in the US coming up, and that could have a major effect on oil and gas if the Dems get in. We don't have to abide by some of their regulations and are a useful way (as an outside supplier) for some of them to work around local restrictions that can be crippling. With pipelines gaining momentum (finally) and rail alternatives as well to the dilbit issue, I'm somewhat optomistic.
How long would it last? Depends partially on who they choose to lead them.
The virus thing will blow over, and things will get back to normal on that front. That will help the markets.
I think we're all in the same boat, trying to figure out which way the wind is blowing. Good luck with that.
