RE:As you know that, Gold and Interest Rates Not to throw cold water, fug, but I've not heard of this negative correlation. How strong is it? My own experience is that gold prices are inversely correlated with changes in the US dollar. That correlation can be around 85%. And the greenback is being driven down today by increased supply.
