Very easy to blame

Very easy to blameThe exec but do you know what parmeters were given to them by the controlling family. You can fire the team but if the next group of exec are given same set of parameters then dont expect anything different. Also we dont know what the exec are told before they got hired. Everyone complains about exec pay this is not just isolated to bombardier Corp. Regardless of what the exec gets paid do you think that someone else will come to bombardier and work for less to clean up the mess knowing very well that you hands might be tired and you are not told about anything. Latest exec that Bellemare hired is recently retired Pratt Canada President John Saabas to head over VP of engineering on rail side. The fact Bellemare hired this late in turnaround plan shows that he was kept in dark by middle management or family on condition of rail division. The fact that he has hired a veteran exec who also happens to be an engineer with a phd shows that Bellemare is doing what he can to fix this derailed company. I am not defending the exec or justifying their pay. I am looking at the actions based on what has been done by exec team. There is problem and they are trying to fix it. To fix something this late shows that someone was holding onto the bad news and was not relayed up the management earlier. The culture of hiding dirt at bombardier is very well known now.
