RE:Anyone remembers Triumph?

RE:Anyone remembers Triumph? You are twisting the fact to fit you narrative. Triumph builds wings and aero structure for many suppliers. The contract for then global 7000 saw Triumph loosing money on that contract. Both bombardier and Triumph settled the dispute out of court but Triumph had under bid the price and the wing assembly for global was a loss making contract for them. Cessna never had any interest in buying wing assembly line for global 7000. Long time ago Triumph also used to make wings for Gulfstream aircraft but Gulfstream too has brought their wing assembly in house. Now the Triumph global wing assembly is owned by Bombardier so explain how does a wing assembly owned by the same owner as the customer of those wings loosing money selling the wing to itself?

In early January last year Bombardier announced a deal with Triumph with Bombardier buying their division manufacturing wings for Global aircrafts.

On February 7th, exactly a year ago, Triumph announced the deal had been completed.

Guess what?

It appears that Textron is not interested in that division.  It is a money loser and could be a deal breaker!
