The president you refer to was only there was a month or so if I recall. Maybe at the time he didn't think they would be able to raise funding, or it would require too much of his time, or just a personality mismatch. Hard telling.

I'm actually glad to the their geologist back in as president, as he also probably has a lot of contacts having been president of one of the mining explorer associations.
