RE:Everone & their grandma praying for Weed.......mrmomo wrote: Literally. As the "Boss of bosses" or top dog in the Canadian canabis sector, all the spotlight will be ENTIRELY focused on them and their earnings tomorrow. Especially now as this whole sector has been completely decimated by some many unfortunate events and scandals. Which in turn as lead to many investors and their dollars fleeing this space in panic & dismay. Imo, i really believe it could be a pivotal point for all involved in this industry, especially for those in trouble like Aurora & Cann trust and many others. Widely regarded as a bellweter company for some time now, its forthcoming financial results could possibly give some insight if this is a viable, profitable industry or not. As many knowledgeable people believe that if Canopy cannot make it or survive and churn a profit, then almost nobody else can.
Personally, i don't own any Canopy stock or any other pot stock for that matter. The sector is in such disarray and investment has been leaving at alarming rates that it makes it practically unattractive. Maybe someday, the magic will return in this space......just not anytime soon. It will take some time or an event for things to readjust themselves before any recovery is to be had. Maybe something like the 2020 US elections could be whiteknight that reignites the flame, who knows. As for Canopy's earnings 2morrow, i have no idea what to expect but i hope for all those who do own stock in these companies that they will be at least inline with most expectations. Anything straying outside those expectations could either offfer some much needed hope or be completely construed as an omen and rattle some already jittery, anxious nerves much further.
Good luck to all
Uhm knock knock Homer APHA is profitable, plus many U.S dispensary plays doing well.
