RE:Cobalt Prices

RE:Cobalt Prices
Good to see you back before the end of the month. As you know, I have also been mostly concerned re the commodity price lately, but regretfully am concerned about a few more things lately as well. Firstly, the monthly or so update reports from Trent re company prospects. I remember the couple before this last one had at least that jolly German fellow agreeing to Trent's outlook for FCC and asking fairly innocuous questions about plans over the next year. Then this last one was just him alone in this small cell-like room telling the same storyline (sure that wasn't the sp moving update we have all been waiting for). I thought about this lots and the same thought kept coming back ... Wash, Rinse, Repeat. In my experience, it can be a kicking can exercise when very little else positive to report. Secondly, there is a major event occurring currently to markets and economic activity overall and its epicentre is in China, the largest EV market in the world. A major economic downturn (if that is what eventually transpires) WILL cause unpredictable havoc to all companies especially small ones. I mean, the yield curve has been inverted for years now (though artificially buoyed by FED bond buying) and the 10 year treasury bond is now threatening to fall below 1% (yikes). Thirdly, it was an article I read a few weeks back about Tesla entering into an exclusive supply agreement with a Chinese battery company producing a cobalt free battery (has an iron component instead and apparently much lighter). Anyway, for me, these things have changed my outlook of late and actions accordingly. I know a couple of posters will be itching to counter these fairly strong concerns of mine, but if so, so be it. Sometimes fundamental things happen and we should not be like deer on the street at night. I think Trent wanted things to come together differently for all parties but all I had was the story and he has the company salary. I had really hoped the CO story would be a good speculation a number of months ago when I bought in, but things have changed for now and things are getting very unpredictable out there. One thing for sure, I may be wrong or right, slightly or otherwise, but no-one can ever know the after before, no matter how much we think so. GLTA.
