ABG’s Grande West Vicinity 2020’s

ABG’s Grande West Vicinity 2020’sI called ABG (not ABN you English mangling genius!) regarding the two NEW Grande West Vicinity 2020’s listed on their website to ask where they were manufactured.  I specifically asked if they were manufactured in China or in the US by Spartan.

They said they were manufactured in Canada, which I ASSUME means final assembly was done in Canada and the basic buses came from China.  So that was interesting.

I wonder what other deliveries they might have made within Canada recently that we don’t know about with bus deliveries from China.  If they’re delivering to ABG with base buses from China, they COULD be delivering to Canadian customers from their backlog.  Again, just a guess.  Maybe they’ve delivered nothing.  I guess we’ll find out when they put out more news.
