RE:RE:Dont bother with GripenYou might be penis envoy to make comment like that. Norway, Denmark all close with Sweden in trade are operating F35. Australia is so why cant Canada. Canada is more technologically advanced in aeropsace then Australia Denmark, Norway and many other countries buying F35. Dont tell me Canada doesnt need stealth technology. Canada's commitment to UN requires it to have attack capabilities. Check out bosnia conflict.

Canada can't afford the number of  technicians required for an F35, nor the support equipment, nor do we have tactically enough airstrips for an F35, nor do we have the pilots... why do you think the Swedes use the Gripen?  It's cheaper to buy, cheaper to fly, cheaper to maintain, and it is operationally more versatile.

Anyone that's in, or been in the Air Force knows the F35 is just penis envy... it's not the size, it's how well you work it.
