RE:RE:BBD should all debt refinanced to almost 0% or negative %pablpo, very very said!

"Canada needs Bombardier but Bombardier doesn't need Canada - as a matter of fact"

I wondwer whether the family had been too pround of themself so that there was not good cooperation in the past around ten years.

As Martel with government background landed, hope this opens new cooperation between fovernment and Bomber. That would be luckness of Canada.

Like I said, Bombardier should simply move HQ to the US, domicile in US, list on Nasdaq and terminate TMX (like what LULU did), and move Global FAL from Toronto to Wichita, end of story - US would welcome those high paying aviation jobs and transportation jobs (which they don't have a Global transportation company btw - don't think they wouldn't want love to have one) with open arms.  By the way, do you think if Bombardier was a US company Airbus would have bought C series for $1 like they did? Not a chance.

Canada needs Bombardier but Bombardier doesn't need Canada - as a matter of fact, Canada as a host country is a liability for Bombardier and has been for 5+ years.

That would be my first priority if I'm Martel - cancel the Alstom thing and demand for $2b pref share investment from Ottawa @ 3% (which is high yield compared to BoC lending to banks at 0.75% - this is who that 0.5% cut was for today), and demand Caisse to convert their $1.5B VC paper into  30% of BT shares + St Laurent land.  Its a very generous offer to those 2 parties - tbh losing C series for nothing after investing so much money into what is going to be a very successful airliner is already beyond the pale and should make any CEO pause and ask why on earth should we remain domiciled there.
