by liquidity problems, I think he means, people who own stocks on whatever platform, that are way underwater, and the lender on margin calls the margin. the holder has no choice to get some liquid to pay off the margin. or the holding co. will sell ANYTHING to get paid, and let me tell you, you can cry, scream, lie,, do anything, they totally do not give a s H I T about your personal tragedy.. and if it keeps on going south, well, you will run out of gold, or silver or shares too dump... and still owe them money... a very bad spiral.
