RE:RE:Dust In The wind
RE:RE:Dust In The windI think you are accurate in your assessment of LeMay. Most managers I know who left over the past 7 years (Since LeMay became CEO) left not just because of his in-ability to lead but due to him being passively vindictive. By not making decisions on the non-performers he is actually putting the people who still want to contribute to this once great company in a position where they lost interest. This once careers driven company became a company where people only stay because they want a salary. It seems to me LeMay is a slow learner as after all the personal coaching, GILD sessions etc. LeMay still has not learned to communicate to his team and the people within Stuart Olson. The best time you can spend in times like this is with your people and on the floor, communicating your plan (If you have one)………. Sitting in meetings telling people how much money you saved the company on making this a “One Company”, HR, getting rid of equipments etc. Does not sit well with the management even if you think it does. Put your ego aside, Decore is gone and she was the only one who supported you. The only thing that count is RESULTS, RESULTS, RESULTS………
