RE:priceTotally Agree....The salaries are not too high....I think Millionares contribute more to the economy then most and all the ones I know are working 70-80 hr a week...The people complaining are the welfare mentality people that think millionares money comes from the sky.... most are working their Assssses off. If they choose to work like crazy until they are 60 years old then die of a heart attack so be it.
when I see a bald guy in a covertible rolls royce I'm not jealous, thats one piece of 1000 piece puzzle..His story is the day he is born until the day he dies not that one moment in time.
Billionares contribute to the economy and if they didnt exist it wouldn't put one more penny in anyones pocket...some people seem to think they are broke because someone else has money.
Frank stronach put more money in my pocket and every Canadian then all the complainers!!!!

On the salaries, any investor with any grain of smarts would do their dd way before investing and if the salaries seems off base to them, and is a huge weight for the dd, then I recommend run, don't invest.
I find it really interesting to see posters b1tchen about compensation of executives of public companies, this typically comes from a foundation of pure envy, a socialist mentality or group baiting, look at these guys, they are all making a lot of money, more than you you loser. Bottom line, compensation is there for all to see for a public company, it is NOT a secret that has JUST been revealed, or insider information, and should never be the sole reason to buy or sell a stock, junior mint time if it is so get yer heads out of yer butts.
If the exec's at F&F are well paid, I don't give a flying I have a weird rash, I knew that going in, is the company poised to grow? What does the balance sheet, and potential look like, is it an emerging market, is it a mature and saturated market, is the executive team capable, is it supported by institutions, will the exec's make even MORE money (a positive if you understand it) etc etc.. Salaries have to be looked at, but don't get all twisted if someone is earning more than you, or what you expect. Using other similar companies as a benchmark is fair game in your dd, but I dont care if the CEO/founders etc., make millions and millions, good for them, only means the company is moving in a direction I would want to invest in, think about it, would you want to be surrounded by miillionares, or by the people who always compain about the people you hang with are millionares. Easy choice IMO. Good luck, wash your hands.
