RE:RE:Please consider

RE:RE:Please considerPipino:  Just some thoughts on current situation re. DoD funding.  I don't think the Ucore/Materion DoD proposal has been as impactful as TMRC's.  For years, UCU seemed to have virtually forgotten it even had Bokan.  I complained about that for a long time.  It was as if Bokan had been left behind as the company promoted itself as an MRT and green tech company--also much about the tar sands.  Although the company says it remained active re. Bokan, it doesn't seem they did.  Only last year with the possibility of fed funding did the company "remember" Bokan.  All of this is obvious to the feds.  Also, what they proposed to do with DoD funding seems questionable and not impressive--

"Pursuant to a successful bid under the IBAS program, Ucore and Materion have agreed to jointly conduct a strategic assessment of the domestic HREE market and an engineering evaluation of related separation capabilities within the United States. Such an evaluation will consider the viability of multiple U.S. and/or U.S. allied rare earth element (“REE”) feedstock sources.

Say what?

I think the on-going court battle has and is distracting the company and takes money from Ucore's small reserves.  The feds have to be wondering how this will end and what the consequences will be.  Presumably, they would like more certitude.

That is just my thinking.  It might be that these factors are irrelevant.
