RE:Revo versus Paypal - what is the difference....? Revo and PayPal are both very different things.
Paypal is a traditional online payment provider, which means, you have an account with Paypal with whom you can link your credit card to process payments from businesses that have integrated themselves with the Paypal payment API.
Revo is not an online payment provider and to this day does not offer an API for other businesses to connect to with an external payment provider architecture (Paypal, Stripe, Braintree, etc). It is a payment platform on which merchants and customers register themselves, load their account with money, then proceed to currency exchanges for services or objects. The basic service being remittance.
The payments function with a blockchain protocol (just like Bitcoin) and the currency exchanged is the CCU coin. The coin is not public (like cryptocurrencies) and is only usable within the Revo platform. You won't see this crypto coin being traded anytime soon (and that's actually a good thing if REVO aims to be serious...).
You'll see some people say that they have links with VISA which is totally false. From my understanding, REVO simply applied to have Visa white labelled cards... Which is not a partnership in any form, it's a service offered by visa to businesses.
Yeah... two technically different products!
