RE:RE:Alstom says discussions over Bombardier deal going smoothly

RE:RE:Alstom says discussions over Bombardier deal going smoothlyAlstom needs bbd rail to compete with Siemens and bbd needs to sell bbd rail to reduce debt. Its a win win. C series is a lost cause. Look at Boeing 787 it was selling like hot cake and the program cost 32 billion which some beleive boeing will never break even on. Airbus has its own lost cause with a380. C series is a great plane but will never be profitable. Bombardier is lucky they got something for it. They took on boeing Airbus duopoly and lost. Time to move on.

As Airbus swallow the C series for penneis , got bbd to pay almost 950 million for first two years then bought bbd out for 550 million, so they bought the c series with 550 miilions out of 1.9 billion that bbd pay them, i.e they got the c series and 1.4 billion on top of it

Alstom is getting a good deal with BT, they will pay more that what Airbus paid for the c series, but bbd is cleaning it out, resolving all issues and legacy contracts software problems, so by the time they get it , it is profitable !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what a deal

that is why Alstom will do any thing to close that deal
