Another Torstar
Another TorstarI just finished off with Torstar , a once 30 dollar company sold for 74 cents a share . The only good thing is that the shareholders got more than what the stock had been trading at . In this case , I certainly hope that neither the management nor the directors get any job offers from Bird Construction NOR should they get any compensation after they lose their jobs . What a pathetic offer . They should have cleared out all the management and taken a shot with fresh blood . They couldn't have done any worse than this offer . My only consolation personally is that I don't have a large position like I had with Torstar . Hard to believe this type of offer could be accepted by anyone . I would rather go down with the ship with new management than to accept this LOW BALL offer . To the other shareholders , I am sorry for you're financial loss after we all bought into this management group.
