Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Below is Carl Merton CFO explaining how they work

I will now quote an answer Carl Merton gave in the February 5th 2020 Ask me anything on Reddit, link will be after quotation

I quote : " As it relates to the second question, Irwin’s RSU grant that was recently approved by the Compensation Committee and the Board was based on four separate grants. There is an initial grant of 25,000 RSUs that vests immediately, there is a second grant of 86,746 RSUs that vests in June without a performance condition), there is a third grant of 260,238 RSUs that vests over the next two years that is tied to performance conditions developed by the Compensation Committee and a final grant of 867,460 RSUs that vests over the next two years and is tied to different performance conditions developed by the Compensation Committee."

Meaning that the majority of his salary is like I said Restricted share units and the majority of them vest by 2021-2022 since Irwin joined late 2018
