RE:RE:RE:If only "CANADA" would be "PRO-ACTIVE " like the U.S. ....Sorry KNOWLEDGEWINS, I wasn;t very clear....
I was talking about the speed that litigation happens down there.
Up here, a alwsuit over covid against the schools/municipalities/provinces would be a 2-10 year process. In the US, this could be done in a matter of weeks.
Not to mention the cost of litigation up here is severely limiting vs the USA. Lawyers will do the case down there for a percentage of payout and not cost anything for the litigants, but up here, no chance in a 2-10 years case.
Anyways, that is what I meant.
Cheers!

( Vancouver ) stating that the governments here were responsible to make sure that the schools were safe for the children. And if the schools were not ... then there could be big lawsuits involved.
But I agree that in the U.S. they can sue for practically anything ... LOL !!!
Just have to wait and see how things transpire I reckon.

For the most part, we would never dream of suing a school district here. Down there, having a temp sensor shows the school was doing everything it could, and can lower insurance rates and increase the defense should litigatrion come up.
Maybe we're saying the same thing, maybe not, lol...
Cheers!

They will wait until schools start closing again because of covid-19 and then "possibly " ( but only a possibility ) that they will follow the U.S.'s lead and start to use the heat cameras !!!
