My Thoughts Yesterday was terrible. Nothing like watching a large portion of your portfolio disappear in such a short time, especially when it appears to be the direct result of possible manipulation or at best, utter incompetence.
I however choose to focus on the positives. The shorts, however frustrating they are, will play a very important role when the momentum swings back in our favour. It should come as no surprise to any long term investor on how thinly traded the shares are right now. Yesterday was really no different. If you tried to buy shares yesterday during the drop, you probably had a hard time because the price was artificially manipulated down and in reality there were no shares to be had. If the same level of short interest remains come contract news, well it will be that much more money in our pocket!
I am also excited about how fast moving things will become once we get some true analyst coverage. Yesterday’s statements were a mere opinion with no research to back it up and look at how powerful they were. Once the true research is done, it will mean some very good things for us.
