RE:RE:RE:RE:Let's not miss this opportunityDibah. I don't know how the decision making framework which exists today. Maybe it has changed over 10 years and don't require a citizen's vote. CHN and hereditary chiefs agree on energy sovereignty by 2023. I think this is not possible without a major project. Even if dams were built on Haida Gwaii, part of the year, there will be a lack of water flow. To use diesel as backup is not energy sovereignty. And then there's future requirements for a proposed sawmill, maybe greenhouses, etc. If the date 2023 is set in stone, then the wind-farm is the way to go in such a short time span, and maybe don't require a vote if such a promise can be made.
