Fort Knox Research
Look at their production in Fort Knox. It's clearly declining and it's only a matter of time before they look at "additional opportunities". I don't want to pump and say they're going to buy us out but I think it is fair to assume that it an option for them should we keep hitting gold, and hopefully high grade gold too.
Fort Knox Production (Gold equivalent ounces):
2016 - 409,844
2017 - 381,115
2018 - 255,569
2019 - 200,263
Sep 17 2020 Press Release
"Kinross continues to use a $1,200 per ounce gold price assumption for its mine plans, including the 2021 - 2023 production guidance, and for the Company’s proven and probable mineral reserve estimates."
Price of Gold is 1900+.
"Kinross is studying additional options in its portfolio that leverage its large mineral resource base and have the potential to sustain strong production beyond 2023, which could generate attractive returns without risking significant capital."
