Looks like the DR is on its knees with the lack of tourist dollars. Abinader was trying to get the locals a 50% off deal to stay at the all-inclusive resorts. Not sure where the locals are going to get the money to do this. Hope he is not counting on that as part of the Great Recovery Plan. Be nice if Big Brother Barrick puts in a good word for GQC and PRG while they have the ear of the Prez. Still scratching my head on why he hasn't whipped out his pen and signed the permit, things are only going to get worse there with the Covid. Everybody put up their hand to show who is going there this winter? Not me and I love the place, been there at lest 10 times. The people need to work, the miners bring a lot to the local commerce, and then the tax dollars get rolling in. SIGN THE PERMIT
