Trouble is, as it drops people lose their nerve and pull their orders.

On my information (from the TSX), it dropped 2 pennies from .88-.86 on a lousy 1000 shares. The crowd parts ways to let the train go thru on the drop, so they do a complete reversal of the advice you give. Well, at the very least, they don't buy on weakness.

Someone did however step in at .86 for 25,000.
