RE:RE:RE:This is about as good as it gets......RogersBulll I couldn't be certain which one of us you were asking.
Josieisok has had his say and now I will give you my mine.
My post is simply a counterpoint to
Josieisok's Point/counterpoint Thrust and parry.
I don't really need the shares; I have lots, but if someone wishes to place them in my lap (.79), at that price, I will take them.
The announcement talks of an extension to Nov 2 by the exchange. I interpret that as the outer limit of the time frame but see no reason why it couldn't come sooner. Either way, I wait.
The trading in GSI seems fair handed enough and though
Dyment could buy the shares if he wanted to, I don't think he is, for two reasons: If the deal were to go south it would be pointless. If he's close to winding it up successfully, again, no need. In fact, the latter might even suggest how close we really are to an announcement.
The sag in the share price is due to a cautious market responding to the points enumerated by
Tropicalsun earlier today. Given the carnage about us in the maket-place show me the stocks that are holding up better than GSI. You won’t find many, nor a company better managed with better prospects.
I have no crystal ball and do not believe in gut feelings. In some respects gut feelings may be called heuristics, -mental short cuts used to save time. Sometimes they work flawlessly and sometimes they don't. But they do work often enough to trick people into regarding them as a sixth sense, -a key to infallibility; a connection to heaven or in some pastoral or natural sense, -mother earth herself. A critical mistake.
Instead I will wait for the announcement and continue buying, -if the price is right. “The battle may not always go to the strongest or the race to the swiftest but that’s the way to bet ‘em.
It all comes out soon enough.
