Well if you are acknowledging that their words have little value then why would you believe that they even have a market worthy product to sell in the first place since that too is based solely on their proven to be less than credible words?
It sort of walks hand in hand. It is like asking a liar if they are a liar. Their answer is always "No I am not a liar" because they are a liar. Surely you do not expect a liar to be honest about lying?
If you are acknowledging that you can not trust someone, then don't. Also, remember that birds of a feather flock together, so what type of a CEO bird do you think this flock will really select?
