I live in Ontario so it is happening in my own backyard. I had a friend point it out to me a few months back as the chance of a lifetime to invest. (I believe someone on here pointed it out too?)
It got some press a month back that popped it quite a bit SP wise. It quite literally has a chance to be have revenues of +$200,000,000 a month by December. And that isnt a typo. A MONTH.
The Govt of Canada has given them development money and gov't officials have tweeted a few times about it the last weeks, tipping their hands they are likely to be the first customers. After that....the world will be lining up. The CEO has already said demand will far outweigh production and mentioned here is hearing from all over the world with India and the UAE showing the highest volume of interest. Once they get CSA approval the damn will burst and that will be any day now.
By detecting the virus in a room they can quarantine those in the room, test them individually and have 100% accurate contact tracing before and after. Its not a game changer to cure covid -- only a vaccine does that -- but a game changer in helping control it.
Its the only reason I didnt sell this stock like most of my others. Covid is going to be a huge bad effect on economies in ways we havent even seen yet. The ones who get the products to fight it are going to be gold mines.
