Reconnaissance Energy Africa Ltd. is a Canada-based oil and gas company. The Company is engaged in the exploration of the Damara Fold Belt and Kavango Rift Basin in the Kalahari Desert of northeastern Namibia and northwestern Botswana. The Company holds interest in a petroleum exploration license no. 0073 (PEL 73) in northeast Namibia and an interest in petroleum exploration rights in northwest Botswana over the Kavango Sedimentary Basin. The Company's exploration license covers an area of approximately 25,341.33 square kilometers (km2) (6.3 million acres) of oil and/or gas exploration properties comprising Blocks 1719, 1720, 1721, 1819, 1820 and 1821 situated in the Kavango Basin of northeast Namibia (the Namibia Licensed Property) and approximately 7,592 km2 (1.88 million acres) in Botswana (the Botswana Licensed Property). The two licenses together comprise over 32,933 km2 (8 million acres).

RE:RE:Evans interviewNo link as it was live..I just happened to be watching Al Jazeera and they said 'after the break we will be talking about 'big oil exploration in Namibia' I decided it would be a good idea to wait til after the break..Ha

He did not mention the rig but spoke that they have full intentions of drilling in December.

The host asked direct questions about environmental issues and Scott handled them very well without hesitation and stated there would be no fracking nor water issues and that they were operating with strict governance according to the environmental laws of the land. Any environmentally sensitive areas would be cordoned off and those areas would not be approached. There was alort more to it but I am summarizing.
He stated that there would be no fracking equipment shipped and that it was not a part of the plan.

The host was very positive about the potential fro job creation in an area that dearly requires it.

It was a very positive and well done interview by both the host and Scott.
