Surge Energy Inc (Alberta) T.SGY

Alternate Symbol(s):  ZPTAF | T.SGY.DB.B

Surge Energy Inc. is a Canada-based oil focused exploration and production (E&P) company. The Company's business consists of the exploration, development and production of oil and gas from properties in Western Canada. It holds focused and operated light and medium gravity crude oil properties in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, characterized by large oil in place crude oil reservoirs with low recovery factors. It offers exposure to two of the five conventional oil growth plays in Canada: the Sparky and SE Saskatchewan. It holds a dominant land position and is drilling a mix of horizontal multi-frac and horizontal multi-lateral wells in the Sparky area. Sparky is a large, well established oil producing fairway in Western Canada. SE Saskatchewan is a focused operated asset base with light oil operating netbacks. SE Saskatchewan operates low-cost wells with short payouts and offers potential for continued area consolidation.

I think you and Honest Al made a good move that fits with your goals. JohnnyF is just a big grump. He's taken lots of runs at me on other boards. He actually never posts anyting useful, just rude criticisms of other posters.

I actually think he's just taking out his bad investing anger.

When my wife and I sold our SGY at $2.47 back in Apr-May, 2016, we took a lot of flack on this board. Funny how it worked out with us putting ti towards NPI, NVU.UN, etc.

Take her easy and never taking anything JF says persoanlly  :-)

For the record I took my leftover pennies from my ill fated Surge investment and rolled it into WCP which has had a nice run the last couple of days so not feeling too bad about Surge sitting at $0.20 now.

But if you cuuld answer a couple questions perhaps I can get closure an move on. Why was  a new Executive VP (being groomed for Pres?)  hired and then shown the door a few months later and at about the same time the VP Exploration resigning?

After this point it has been a downwad slide.

Everything roses in Upper Management?
