And incidentally, Spence, many public bodies are likely feeling the same way about being held to "a higher safety standard" that they are held responsible for and which they would be 'self-imposing' with the adoption of Biocloud (or other like tech)... So, it may not be 'liability' strictly, but there are other 'sanctions' they may face from the public. Same arguement. If the public wants/demands such a standard, then actors (public & private) will be looked to for answers. So, one should argue that 'citizens' should decide (and thus drive demand if they want it), but in order to do so, they need to know about. it first. So, one could futher argue that awareness of the public of tech like this is crucial to its wide-spread adoption and thus an important task for KNR. Bit of a chicken-and-egg and I bet KNR believes that first sales of this 'revolutionary tech' will take care of that by itself, but with all the media available, they may feel the requirement to be more proactive now.
