Livramento ROM pad one almost full, another vein uncovered Richard and the team have been hard at it by the looks. The first rom pad is almost full, so they are building an exceptionally large stockpile of ore for the plant. This is especially important as during the wet season, they can get heavy rain from time to time, and that can make it hard to keep the mining operation going at 100 percent. Trucks cannot climb wet ramps, the ramps can be graded to remove the mud as soon as the rain stops, but there is always down time, so great to have a big stockpile at the plant so it can keep going regardless and keep production going. It looks like the plant is running like a clock and now running seven days a week. I am so looking forward to the first announcement for our maiden gold pour. Even though I am not expecting too much, as they have been running low grade devilment material mostly as they open the high-grade areas.
At the end of the video is a slide showing the results of a ten-kilogram sample taken from a vein uncovered last Friday. If anyone knows anything about panning gold, you will know the significance of this photo. More on that later, maybe tomorrow if I get time, along with a run down on the plant.
