Generally the book value is the average price of share issues. The IPO was at 14 bucks which is what CPPIB bought in at. They also bought another tranche around 16. T Rowe and others bought in during 2018 when ARC and Kern quietly excited. Last I checked there are about 59 percent held by institutions. I ask the question why would the institutions sell at 6 bucks when oil has obvious upside.
