RE:RE:RE:People just can't see what's really going on ITS SADLol, that is the exact explanation the government will use to take credit for it, the reality is the numbers are way off the mark despite the things you have mentioned, 1. Kids in schools dont care about A. Handwashing B. Social distancing and C. Kissy face as you put it. In fact kids have pretty much congregated like they always have and the moment they leave school property or their karen parents with their friends they ditch the masks and carry on business as usual, I have a kid in high school, most of them are oblivious to any of it, schools are a huge spreader of flus and from young sharing crayons etc to high school many dont follow this stuff, they dont watch news, they live for now, they dont get it. Speaking to the bars and single scenes among my friends, they dont pass up opportunities despite this if you get my drift and finally if you have a large group of friends as I do who like to get together for drinks and have a good time very little has changed in behaviour and I've spoke to many circles who are in the same boat and I am 50 so to say those flu numbers are acceptable and reasonable is completely ridiculous imo. It's just the same propaganda as the people who die "with covid" not because of it.

summer in North America).

Three likely explanations are;

1 People wearing masks to block covid also blocks
   the flu virus
2  Less people going to offices or crowsed games reduces
    exposure to the flu.
3  much less kissy-face amongst strangers at parties or pubs

Oh.

lots of hand washing may have helped too
