Testing the system ???

Testing the system ???I put a buy order in at the last second for 1000 shares at 8.5 cents.
It instantly got filled at 7.750 cents.
There is nothing for sale at 7.75 - it should have filled at 8
you might see it - it should be CIBC.
Does anyone know how that happens???
