RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Guess everyone is quietly selling The credibility and experience of the GQC management team really shows in their discipline and patience througout the years waiting on this project. With all of the corruption allegations from the previous DR administration coming to light, I am sure the GQC management had to remain extremely disciplined to not get influenced into greasing the wheels for the permit approval. I am sure Abinader and his new administration will acknowledge this and approve this permit.
I think we need to give this new DR administration the time to develop their plan that they have described in their official releases, which is to change the Mining Laws and accellerate the approval process of development permits.
- The mining law is very close to being introduced to congress-MEM confirmed that it was ready to be introduced to congress earlier this after consultation with all the Mining companies in the country.
- I believe the recent approval of the PRG exploration permit and update of the MEM map is a sign that they are looking to implement a streamline process on the approval of permits and remove red tape.
Let's be patient and give them the time and opportunity to do things properly, I think as investors in a project that has the possibility of moving into production in less than 2 years we will benefit from robust standards and processes.
GQC has a competent, honest and experience Management team and Romero is a technicaly sound project, it will all come together. I think the risk on the permit approval was substantially reduced after the election.
