Well, if this is a pump and dump by big investors, I'm a perfect example of how small investors can ride someone else's wave and make money.
Did I get in at the lowest possible price? No.
Did I sell at the peak yesterday? No.
I bought 250,000 shares of this stock back in early 2019 at an average price of 4.5 cents. I had a sell order at 9 cents which filled yesterday. That's called a $10,000 profit, which might be small potatoes for many people, but for me that's a darn good day.
Do I regret not being able to watch the market more closely yesterday and selling higher? Definitely, but I have a day job and cant stay glued to a trading screen.
Moral of this story? Never kick yourself for taking a profit. I've realized in order to make real money, not just on paper but cash in my account, I need to SELL. When I was less experienced I got greedy too many times, hung onto something for too long, tring to squeeze the last penny by catching the peak, and then was caught by the downturn. Nowadays I ask myself, if I can make a 25%, 50%, 100% profit in a couple of days, weeks, or months - how much more do I need? There are always other opportunities when you have cash.
