RE:Waiting for Q1 resultsI was explaining the ITSS system to a Teacher recently and she said but then you have to have someone standing there saying you come in, you go home or you go see the Nurse. Yes during a world pandemic that would probably be a good idea. But we live with viruses all the time. It's just the way the nature works. Viruses don't have to evolve into a pandemic but some do so we have to be ready for that possibility. Re-acting after the fact in a modern highly mobile world with lock downs and closings doesn't work well. Its just not a viable long term plan. IMO. The ITSS unit after Covid19 would still continue to do an important job. The AI would establish a base line for people entering a building with a temperature. People go out while sick to buy medication or food. Everyone has done it. So the future ITSS will quickly establish ie 1% of people entering a Walmart store on any given hour or day has a temperature. They could have a cold, flu or some desease like cancer, etc. Doesn't really matter. The ITSS monitors the trend. The trend will vary depending on the time of year but any steady rise in the trend is what the ITSS will look for. 1% then 2% then 3% time to let the Authorities know. Shutting down one city is a viable option to control a virus spread. Shutting whole economies is not. Any system looking specifically for Covid19 is short sighted. Covid19 will come and go but something new will follow and we have to watch for it and be ready. Surely we have learned something this time around.
