This being a split funds, things are a bit different as the proceeds are not used to pay dept or finance a project. As long as shares are issued around NAV and proceeds are used to invest, it has no impact on the shareholder value, other than people reacting negatively on something they don't understand.
I'm not worried one bit about FFN.
