Mentique Potential ... 2 Million+ ounces of OxidesRecall my most recent estimate of the closely drilled GC zone of Peranghi, which contained two estimates of contained gold..bulk sampling and coring down to 10 m.
These I combined to estimate 9500 ounces of oxides in that closely drilled zone measuring 180 m by 50 m by 10 m containing 300,000 tons of ore......see copy below
This is a very confident estimate, given the high sampling rate.
The central high grade zone at Mentique approximately measures 250 m by 800 m.
At 10 m deep, that zone contains 5 million tons of potential gold ore ( 250 x 800 x 10 by 2.5 ).
That is, this central shallow zone , extrapolated from the GC zone of Peranghi, could contain 5 millon tons divided by 300,000 tons = 17 times 9500 ounces = Approx 160,000 ounces.
We know that oxides at Peranghi/ Selinsing extend at high grades down to at least 49 m which means that the central zone of Mentique could contain 160,000 times 5 = 800,000 ounces
Below the oxides, almost certainly there will be sulphides extending to at least 200 m .
And there are 3 of those high grade zones at Mentique which points towards greater than 2 million ounces.
Mentique is far larger in area than Selinsing and in the same geological setting.
While illustrative and speculative, these estimates have a good evidential basis which can be inferred from drill and production data at Selinsing, Buffalo Reef and Peranghi.
Next exploration stage at Mentique will be trenching which will add substantial reality to the soil data .
Still a ways to go but our oxide futures are looking exceptionally bright.
Bringing in new professional management capable of advancing projects in a timely manner would make the picture even brighter

That closely drilled area is 12,000 sq meters and 10 meters deep, for a total ore volume of 120,000 cu meters.
Specific gravity is 2.5 tons per cu meter so this closely drilled area we have 300,000 tons of ore averageing just above 1 gm per ton.
Combining the bulk sample of a total of 15,677 tonnes of bulk sample material containing 612 ounces of gold and a total of 58,662 tons containing 1747 ounces sampled from the same area in Q1/21, we have a total of 74,329 tons of high grade oxide ore containing 2359 ounces of gold.
So above 10 m in this GC zone, we have 300,000 tons of high grade ore which, by simple computation contains 300,000 / 74,329 X 2359 ounces =9500 ounces of gold.
