RE:RE:BYD wins order for 1002 busses

RE:RE:BYD wins order for 1002 bussesBYD has a manufacturing facility in California. A Chinese company with U.S. operations. BYD has supplied half of the approx 1000 EV buses currently operating in the U.S.

If GWT had a such a spectacular product then why did Edmonton go with Proterra? GWT is late to the game, but I'm sure they will get enough orders to keep going. A $1B company? I doubt that, considering their operations in U.S. won't be ready to begin production until mid to late 2021. They are projecting late 2021 into 2022 before they can fill orders.

Everyone is buying based on a best case scenario. That's a suckers bet. But, to each their own.
